Back in April, we had a couple of glorious field days. I couldn't stop taking pictures of Jared's enthusiastic throwing styles. ;) We really work on technique...can't you tell?! :)
The school here has lots of stations and the kids get to move through them with their buddies on their own. I love the freedom of it! There are always tons of parents to help if extra hands are needed at the stations and always tons of us acting like paparazzi.
We discovered that Jared was super good at this game...random talent. He picked up two and three marbles at a time!
I just love his form...ya' know...since I'm not super athletic anyway and am really just focusing on how much fun he's having.
I love that he wants me there and that I get to be there. :)
Ethan's field day was the next day. Both field days were postponed a week due to weather which meant that I had a conflict on Ethan's make-up field day. I was already scheduled to read to Jared's class and couldn't reschedule that. Ethan was a champ about the fact that I'd have to leave early and told me that he was fine since he'd done it for a few years already. I love the maturity that he is gaining as he grows up! :)
It threatened rain all day, and dripped a little bit here and there, but luckily, field day was a success!
