The Beginning of May and the End of the School Year

I had to document happy kitchen helpers.

Sometimes we don't eat at home and the kids enjoy fun toys from their meals.  ;)  I have to say that these Wendy's toys were top notch in my book.  We love building things and using creativity.
A Saturday morning...the kids wanting us to watch cartoons with them...Alan trying to work...my being bored and so taking pictures of us.  :)
Aunt Elaine happened to be in town for her birthday, so we went out to eat.  She didn't want to ride on the saddle, so Ethan volunteered to do it instead. :)
Always too much food...and Jared not wanting a picture...again.

Instead of eating dinner, we opted for birthday ice cream instead.  :)
For Mother's Day, Ethan made me scrambled eggs and Jared made me muffins (with Alan supervising).  It was so sweet.  The plated it (on a lid!) and brought it to me.  I have to write a little bit about the story of it though.  I was awake but I always listen to a Conference talk in bed before getting up, so I was still in bed.  Jared kept coming to my bedroom door.  I guess I looked awake the second time he came because he came in and tried to shut my eyes for me.  He then whispered, "Stay asleep!" and ran back out.  I got the message.  A bit later they delivered this adorable breakfast.
Jared made some treasures at school this year.
(My Mom Is: smart, awesome, beautiful, nice, caring, sweet.)
I had to document the fact that Pig Latin is big in our house right now.  ;)
 Jared loves to build!
 A Saturday ice cream outing

 Kindergarten graduation!

 Third grade awards:

Last day of school!  (Jared is really in a "Please don't take my picture!" phase.)

After school silly string fun with neighbors:

 Snow cones...a summer must!
Water balloon fight and then jumping on the trampoline while wet...the only way to stand being in the backyard when it's so hot.  (Also, more of Jared's antics to avoid pictures...trying to get away...and though it looks like he's about to trip and fall flat on his face, he didn't.)

 ALWAYS BUILDING!
