We got there a little early due to a very traffic-free drive. :) The lens fogged pretty badly when I first opened the camera...that's something that happens very regularly down here.
There were some huge and fun statues that I got Jared to imitate.
I thought I'd incorporate this photo to show how large the statues were.
Fun house mirrors are always entertaining.
Plus, then you can't really tell my body shape. :)
It was so fun to play together!
There were cool ball tracks all around above our heads. Jared spent a lot of time looking up.
Ethan is very into gears and the mechanics of things so this was right up his alley.
This little table made me want to go play miniature golf.
We had a lot of fun putting the arch together. In the middle, Jared decided to make a break for it and took off running. That left me holding both sides up. Unfortunately you don't get a photo of that since...ya know, I was holding up the arch. :)
The boys really liked racing the balls down the track.
They had lots of little science stations. We got to bring home some super-absorbent polymers to test out.
I want one of these walls at our house.
Here they are checking out different weights and densities.
Jared had to use his whole body's weight to pull some of them. :)
This was a really fun machine. It was a big music box. You put the balls in and then spun the crank and it played the music.
There was a fun water section. I took this picture and then put the camera away. :)
When we made it back inside, we were pretty tired and almost ready to go. Then the boys saw the police car. They could have stayed forever!
It was a really fun visit and there's so much more we could have done. I look forward to taking the boys again in a couple years when the science behind the fun can sink in a little more. :)
