Jared really doesn't like fire.
Alan gave him a little lesson on fire safety and candle blowing.
After watching the first time around,
Jared was a pro and blew it out over and over. :)

Jared knows just what to do with presents. He's an excellent unwrapper.
He wouldn't pause to look at me, but he was so excited about his gifts. :)
(I know it seems like we've picked a favorite child already, but we haven't. It's just that I know that 2 year olds really don't care and so I don't do as much. If you compared these pictures to Ethan's 2nd birthday, it would look pretty similar.) We definitely love both of our children! :)

Happy Birthday Jared! I love the "lean in" picture. He is so cute. Nice job on the practice photo session too. They look great! It really is all about the lighting (at least that's what they say).
