Halloween

Now that Christmas prep is in full swing, I'd better get posting about the past two holidays!  The day before Halloween I asked the boys to take some pictures.  Their ninja poses might not be technically accurate, but I think they're adorable anyway.  :)

Also in the week before, we made some Halloween sugar cookies.  :)

On Halloween, as the afternoon progressed, the sky got darker and darker.  I thought that trick-or-treating might be cancelled, so I put together a little pumpkin hunt for the boys.  I hid the letters to this message along with a few candies.
I also hung light-up balloons and set the table with Halloween jokes.  :)
When the boys got home, they were ready to go!  Alan had to hold Jared back for a picture.  ;)

Then we got busy with our mummy pizzas.  :)

The rain had slowed down, so we decided to at least give trick-or-treating a try.
The day before Halloween they started talking about how cool it would be to use pumpkins to match their costumes.  We already had a black one and I looked at multiple stores for a blue one to no avail, but luckily for us, Ms. Camille had one and lent it to us!
Here they are all ready to go with their umbrellas.  :)

They did get a little wet, but they came home after going all the way around the block and had full pumpkins!

Once the candy was sorted, I settled down to a puzzle.  :)
