Someone had this genius idea to visit the Blue Bell Creamery. I really did think it was a good idea...until I sat in traffic for a half hour...the whole time wondering why I didn't just go to the grocery store. :)
Then we got there, met friends, and had a great time and I was so glad that we'd gone. :)
Some of the kids raced us slow-poke moms; they took the elevator and we took the stairs. They were a little surprised when we beat them to the top. (It was only one floor!) :)
There's nothing better than being surrounded by ice cream cartons. :)
You can't take pictures of the factory, but it was so fun to see it being made and put into cartons. The kids asked good questions and made funny comments about how much money they'd make if they worked there! :)
Of course, a highlight of the day is the $1 scoop of ice cream!
Jared really didn't want a picture...I probably shouldn't have forced him. He tried to get back at my by pretending to bite me. This is shocking I know...I'm sure you had been thinking that I had perfect children who are never completely ridiculous! :)
