When Ethan got home from school, we still had lots of celebrating to do. We made our traditional mummy pizzas. I love that the boys help make them and this year I added ham and veggies to mine and Alan's so they were quite tasty. :)
This is one of Ethan's favorite parts of Halloween. :)
Jared, however, could hardly stand to sit next to the pizzas.
Then we got to work carving our pumpkin since we hadn't been able to fit it in all week. I had been waiting to let Alan help (a.k.a. do all the gross stuff), but he had such a busy work week. Finally, I just decided to be brave and I went at it myself and made the boys participate as well. They picked the pattern "Happy Hal" and Ethan was a big help to mark the picture. There is no documentation that I actually worked on it since the pictures I asked Ethan to take somehow didn't get saved. Oh well. We were happy with our work.
I asked them to make the same face as Hal. :)
Then after some Halloween stories and some outside play, we got ready for trick-or-treating/passing out candy.
From across the street, I saw the cutest ninja turtle waving at me. :)
Alan and the boys walked around the block with a group of our great neighbors.
They had a very successful night.
