Comparison

I need to get learning more about photography again.  I've been slacking.  I downloaded the trial of Lightroom today because I definitely need to learn about editing.  I thought I'd try Lightroom before attempting Photoshop.  It's all a little overwhelming.
Here are some photos that I edited with Picasa and then the Lightroom version:

 Obviously I cropped it quite a bit.  I can't help but love the close-up.

I really get so sad when I see how poorly I did with the lighting, but anyway, here we are.

 I have lots to learn.
