I've been waiting to post pictures of the quilt as I've been pillow shopping. Last night I finished the adventure on a fun shopping trip with my friend (thanks Katie!). Here's the finished product. I'm also planning to make/buy a headboard after we move that would be the chocolate brown color and be a better background. I love it! Thanks again to all who've helped!

Beautiful! Great job on the pillows too :) It makes me want to step up our stuff.
It looks so good! I love those pillows from BB&B. And I'm glad we got to go shopping - I'll really miss you when you leave! I feel like you and I have such similarities/parallels in our lives, so it's nice to talk to someone who knows where I'm coming from. But I know we'll keep in touch via phone (and a fun trip to NYC next year!)
do love the pillows and the quilt looks great. I want to see the whole thing though,,,,is it white and brown? Kinda hard to tell on my screen.
Very beautiful. Also read back to see the great family pictures. YOu make such a wonderful looking family. :)
Gorgeous!! And I'm totally impressed that you MADE that quilt - yo go girl!
I recently had some success with pillow shopping, too, so I know the feeling. :)
The quilt is a light greenish blue and brown. Thanks for your comments. :)
Sharon,
I love your quilt. It's so sad how few people know how to do so many of the domestic things our mothers/grandmothers know. There is nothing better than a homemade quilt.
...you made this?!!!!!
I kept thinking "I wonder where she got that, I love those colors!" Sharon you little Martha Stewart! It is gorgeous!
Well, mostly my mom made it...I helped with the quilting pattern, but she's the true artist! :)
Sharon, it is AMAZING! I really am just so impressed. Lovely family pics, by the way!
