I had to laugh one day when I found the setup Jared had used to reach the cereal on the top shelf of the pantry. I learned to use tongs to reach things from my mother and apparently I'm passing it on another generation.
When even the stool isn't enough!
Somehow I only managed to get one, but a CFA Peppermint Chocolate Chip Shake is a highlight of the season for me. :)
Christmas movies and Christmas playdough fun!
We don't often play with filters, but they are pretty funny!
I took this picture on a cold, rainy day that made me so grateful to discovered the joy of community center exercise classes. I have made friends with wonderful people and been able to be a part of some great workout classes, and for the last two months been able to teach a class even!
I take so many pictures of things that I don't end up sharing. Sometimes a day is just so great that while I'm waiting for the boys at the bus stop, I have to take a picture. :)
While Alan took Ethan to the store to buy a gift for Jared, we made a treat and played Trivial Pursuit.
While we were playing, Jared said very matter-of-factly to me, "Mom, you know stuff."
Some funny trampoline moves:
I had to document the one and only morning I've EVER had to wake both of my children up for school. :)
By the time I went back into Jared's room, he'd uncovered his head and had a cute little grin going. :)
Those brownies that Jared and I made were enjoyed by reindeer candlelight. :)
Alan's dad sent us this beautiful flower arrangement that made our table look so happy!
The community center looked so festive! This picture was to document how happy I am to be teaching a class now because if I hadn't been, I probably wouldn't have exercised all month! (You see, I love exercise...I really do...some forms anyway, but I also love a lot of other things and tend to put it off all too quickly.)
After packing all the Christmas stuff into the car, I couldn't help but feel so much joy that my closet floor was clean again!
I hosted a puzzle party with some fantastic women who I've found share a love of puzzles...or have people in their families who love puzzles. It was so fun! Puzzles are the best and puzzle friends are the very best!
That led to lots of puzzling!
Another fun party with friends was a Favorite Things Gift exchange. So much fun! So many great ladies and great new things to try and love!
