The Fourth of July

I LOVE holidays!  :)
I had fun setting up a cute table for our holiday meal.  :)
I also got in the spirit by listening to an audiobook about the American Revolution and doing this puzzle (that was my souvenir from our trip to Philadelphia years ago).
There is so much actual information on this puzzle.  I love it!
Jared and I made this patriotic popcorn.  :)
I went on a morning walk and couldn't help but take a picture. ;)
Alan and Ethan grilled for us and they did a great job.  I love watching Alan teach them important skills.  ;)  Also, Ethan is wearing my flip flops in this picture.  It's crazy to me that they don't look that much too big for him!
They were thrilled that I made them take a picture.  ;)
This is a meal that Ethan absolutely loves and wanted both steak and a cheeseburger (but ended up not eating the steak almost at all and saving part of the burger as well). ;)
Our SUPER picky eater Jared loves holidays because he isn't forced to try anything and happily enjoyed his lunch of Funyuns (and he did have some strawberries as well).
We played some foosball together as well.  I had to take a picture because even the table was festive.
We had a rather boring, long afternoon...I really should have just taken them swimming!..., but finally made it to firework time.  We played a little bit of light-up ball with our neighbors before they started and then sat down for the show.
I didn't do a great job just using my phone to take a quick snapshot of us with our glowstick  additions, but that's what I have, so that's what's here.  :)
