December Phone Pictures

I am still so behind, but I'm finally mentally ready to tackle it all.  ;)
There were lots of puzzles in the month of December...it was a really good month that way.
We actually ate at a restaurant and Ethan was willing to take a few pictures with me.  :)

We made the switch to a king-sized bed and I added a few Christmas touches to make up for the lack of finishings.
Jared and I did a fun coloring advent calendar.
One day I went upstairs to find that the boys had arranged some toys around a string of twinkle lights.  Their creations are always entertaining to me.

I can't get pictures to turn today.  They also helped decorate the tree by adding some stuffed dinosaurs.
Jared was in charge of writing the numbers on our countdown this year.  I love his handwriting...sometimes.  ;)
We enjoyed some really nice weather at the park.
Jared really liked to hide here.
I spent a fun morning sewing some new pillowcases and watching Fixer Upper.

This day turned out to be one of the best days ever!  I had to document it.
When my parents come over to the temple, I sometimes get to meet them and we attempt a three-person selfie.  Go, go Gadget-arms...I wish!
This is what Christmas is all about!
I got some free puzzles.  :)

We went to see a production of Elf that was very fun and well done!

The boys were so good that we decided to let them pick a place for lunch afterward.  They picked Cracker Barrel and had lots of fun playing in the store.
Jared wanted to puzzle with me.

Alan and I went to a crepe place for a lunch date and it was delicious!
These boys are sometimes so silly, and when you wake up to a sight like this, you have to take a picture.
I had a great time at one of my favorite Christmas traditions...the Favorite Things party...these ladies always share the best things!
We spent a scary night in the ER for what turned out to be nothing more than a virus.
Jared really doesn't like pictures these days, but I loved his painting of a flower and a bee.
Nearly every time I passed a Nativity set, one of the boys had rearranged it.
Jared was very excited about this one with an elephant!
 Seriously...it won't stop turning them!

 Jared was helping with laundry...
and had to get in to reach the last things.

We don't have many nights cool enough for a fire, but when we do, it's glorious!
 We painted some presents.
