Even more! :)
We played lots of games
and read lots of stories.
Jared doesn't always do well in unfamiliar classes, so I took him out for a bit near the end of church. I couldn't help but take some pictures of this kid who just needed a breather. Though it was ridiculously hot, he was so calm and happy to be walking out in the rocks and playing with sticks.
Uncle Trevor is pretty much as good as a playground. :)
In the hotel...the boys really wanted a ride. ;)
Okay, I took this picture because I had to document the fact that my mom had just tucked me into bed. I laid down and for some reason mom came over and pulled up my sheets. We were laughing so hard. I love the slumber party part of visits! :)
Everyone was excited to be getting donuts!
The grocery store there has a horse you can ride for a penny.
Aunt Rachel came up with lots of arts activities for us.
Ethan and Megan went exploring with Grandma. Ethan had crocs on, but plenty of dirt made it through the holes.
They had lots of fun though.
Togetherness!
We really enjoyed their 80-degree weather! It felt like Fall and my boys kept wanting long pants! :)
We got out hands on some tomatoes to add to the ones that Rachel had grown in her garden and we made tons of tomato soup!
We needed it to cool, so we used a big old plastic bin (washed of course).
The boys were good at moving their beds around. :)
We went to the Indianapolis Temple Open House. Jared was so sleep-deprived that he slept the whole way there. It was kind of awesome to be his pillow. :)
After, we got frozen yogurt while Aunt Rachel played the piano in the Open House tent.
Very sunny, but it's such a beautiful place! I won't go into the fact that my children were kind of ridiculous during the process of waiting and waiting and waiting.
Jared slept for about a half an hour out of the 30 total hours and Ethan slept none.
When we finally made it home, we were beyond thrilled!
