While we didn't have anything going on for months, now it seems we've had many in a week. Alan had Friday off, but had to drop into the downtown office so we all went and made a day of it. We went to the Aquarium.
I let Alan take the camera for a bit.
I am not used to being in front of the camera and apparently I make strange faces.
Can you tell how much the boys were excited to be in a picture with me?
I am not sure why the aquarium has a white tiger, but they do. It had a box of food in front of it...nice feeding dish, right?
The boys were braver about the sting rays this time.
Then one came by and really splashed us. You can't tell too much in the picture, but we were pretty damp.
I had to laugh...when I asked them to sit on the bench for a picture, Jared tried to hide in the shade.
We rode on the train to see the shark tunnel. It was pretty neat.
I got to ride on a ferris wheel for the first time in my life.
Again...thrilled to be in a picture. :) He was dissapointed because he thought we had said we were going on the carousel. He did enjoy the ride, though.
And we finally made it to the carousel. :)
Jared was nervous at first, but then got into it and cheered for his seahorse to go faster and faster!
We had to walk back to the car which we had left about a mile away back at Alan's office. Jared got a ride. This was by far the worst part of the adventure. We were hot and tired and really thirsty and we got a little mixed up about directions and it was pretty awful, but we made it and at least we did something on our day off. :)
