We closed on our house, got the key, and walked in it as the owners a year ago today. What an exciting time! I feel so spoiled to live in this house.
Here are some reasons:
Dishwasher (It may be easy to take for granted, but having lived without one for a few years, I don't think I ever will.)
Garage (It's praises cannot be sung enough.)
Playroom
Master Bathroom
Upstairs
Natural Light (See all those windows?)
Under the stairs closet (Harry Potter cupboard)
Carpet (I love being able to roll around on the floor with my children.)
Neighborhood pool
Window Seats
Fenced Backyard
Great Neighbors connecting with a little wood knot (Ethan's accepting a picture that the neighbor girl drew for him.) If the neighbors are outside, they spend half their time talking through the fence.
We don't share walls with neighbors. I'm happy sharing a fence, but our children are just too loud to share walls.
Simplicity (It's not a fancy house...at least not for the area. There are houses with the same square footage as ours but $50,000 more. But each time I visit other's houses, I'm glad to come home. There's just something about it. I'm so grateful for our house.)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes carpet in homes!
that makes me so happy to read this! Gratitude is a powerful thing! I'm so happy you have such blessings. And it makes me hopeful that my husband will be out of school soon! haha!
