Happy Birthday to Ethan!

The birthday celebration went on for a few days, but we're finally done and all partied out! :) It really was all a lot of fun! I know this is a long post, but one of the cutest pictures of all time (sorry, just a little bit of bias going on, I know) is at the very bottom, so make sure to at least scroll down. :)
We got to have cupcakes with his preschool class. His teachers do a great job at making birthday kids feel special. There was a knighting ceremony and everything!
We had pizza for his birthday dinner and then he got to open some presents from family. I didn't do well taking pictures during this phase (though I'm sure you'll say you've seen enough by the time you get to the bottom...if you make it there!), but here's one of Ethan with a new story for bedtime. This was the first year we invited kids for an actual party. I tried to make it as simply fun as possible. The dinosaur theme was a hit! It went a little something like this:
sticker scene decorating while we wait for everyone to arrivedinosaur egg huntchecking out the contents of the eggscake (Ethan requested an ice cream cake, so I decorated the top of a delicious Reese's PB ice cream cake.)presentsa present for everyoneplaying with said present (These inflatable dinosaurs are what made me really excited about the theme. They were so fun!)dinosaur playdough (We just happened to already have these playdough toys and so it meant for a really easy, fun activity.)
Before the party, I took a few pictures of him with the balloons.

You're right, that last picture is ADORABLE!!! What a fun birthday!

I also really like where you guys live. It's charming. The brick and doors and the large grassy areas, so pretty!

I laugh hysterically every time I read your side bar of what Ethan says, he is hilarious!
