I have been struggling lately with a child who thinks he's boss, thinks he knows how things should be run, what we should eat, etc. I almost lost it this morning! Each time I picked up something interesting, he said, "Mine!" I felt like saying, "Let's get this straight. You have nothing. Everything in this house belongs to either your father or your mother, understand? You may ask permission to use things, but you may not grab them and yell that they are yours."
I understand that children go through phases. I'm not a huge fan of this one. I am glad that I had a humorous Bill Cosby moment filed in my brain to bring humor to the situation. I'm not exactly sure how to put the video from YouTube onto the blog, so here's the link.
The particular part I am referring to comes about a minute and a half into the clip.

I LOVE the story of Larry, it's hilarious!
Funny! Sounds just like Hadlie. She has moved on to the "I'm bigger than you" phase. It's great.
