Suddenly Ethan has turned all BOY! It's not like he acted girly before or anything, but suddenly he's so loud and rowdy--hollering at the top of his lungs, grunting (resembling Tim Allen), jumping off chairs, the couch, etc! Also, his very favorite activity is getting dirty. He'd rather be outside digging than doing just about anything else. Here are a few of the pictures I took yesterday while we were out playing. They are from the beginning so they don't show the grass and mud stains on his clothes, not to mention the dirt spread over nearly all of the exposed skin! :)
This, by the way, I have named "the stew pot." To watch Ethan play in it, you'd think he were carefully choosing the ingredients of a gourmet soup. He carefully selects the rocks, leaves, sticks, etc. that belong in it and then stirs them, repositions them, etc.
After all of that digging, an ice cream cone is so refreshing! :)

Ethan's stew pot made me laugh so hard! I can totally relate, Reagan gets so busy and so into things and is very particular, it is so cute! What fun you have outside. The dirtier the better! Makes for great baths!

He is getting so big. I know what you mean about all boy. There are definitely boy genes that drive them to dig . . . and collect bugs and wrestle and be SO loud! Those are the token ones at our house
