I posted earlier that Christmas is so much fun...it's so much fun that occasionally things get a little out of hand. I'd been so impressed at the way that Ethan was taking our tree. I'd planned on having a few ornaments available to him at the bottom and he'd been doing so well taking only those. Well, today, he tried to pull a higher ornament resulting in this:

I commend you for putting a tree up. I think that we are going to avoid it this year for the same reasons you have pictures up. Good luck!
that is the exact reason we won't be getting a tree this year. it sure is funny when it happens to other people though! ethan is too cute!
Oh no!! By next year he won't be into pulling on the tree anymore, he'll just want to help you decorate it. What a great memory you have now.
Interesting...we had that SAME problem today. Unfortunately I but the tree on top of the cedar chest to make it out of Lucy's reach. Well it didn't quite work, so it fell on top of her. She took it pretty well...but I felt like a bad mom. Oh well.
I've been kindof bad about the whole blogging thing and had tons to catch up on yours. I can't believe Ethan turned one. Where did the time fly? I loved the before, during, and after pictures of him eating his cupcake. So cute. He is such a cute fellow. I loved his 1 year pics. too.
That's no good! I thought our Christmas tree problems were unique to having a kitty, but it looks like little kids can wreak quite the havoc, too!
Very fun in a "your baby is growing up so fast" kind of way!
