Not Much That's New

Well, I haven't done very well lately at taking pictures so I haven't posted. We've been working so hard on Ethan's sleeping (or lack thereof). :) So, when I got him to sleep and saw his hand clutching his blanket, I just had to take a picture. It's really dark because I didn't dare use the flash, and even then, after the camera made it's little noise he turned his head to me and half-opened an eye as if to say "what do you think you're doing?" :) Ethan sleeps best on his side so that's why he's kind of propped up on the crib. Oh, and by the way, at Ethan's check-up, we learned he's now 17 lbs 13 oz and 26 inches. One thing he does do well...grow! :)

Sharon - I love sleeping pictures! Babies are just so sweet when they're sleeping. And I love the hand grabbing the blanket. When Maggie was in the hospital I got a million pictures of her sleeping with her little head poking out of her blankets or her hand poking out. Cute!

That is the most precious picture! I love moments like that!

There he is in all his sleeping glory! I love the no-flash, please-don't-stir picture. He's pwecious. I hope this snooze lasted long enough for you to get some rest too.

I have often wanted to take pictures of Reagan she is sleeping....but I'm too scared, she is such a light sleeper. I feel your pain on the sleeping thing, its a constant battle for us, but has definitely been getting better. Does he put himself to sleep? On any sort of routine?

No...he doesn't put himself to sleep. That's the next step. Right now, we're just working on having him stay asleep once he's there. :) Yes, however, he does have a general routine.
