Strawberry Picking

At the end of March (2018) (I'm both terribly ashamed that I'm this far behind and also amazingly proud that I'm going to try again.)  ;)
Is there anything cuter than this?!
We had several chats about what kind of strawberries we actually wanted to pick.  If I had been wise, I would have just planned to spend a million dollars and then I could have avoided the stress of trying to make sure that each berry they picked was a good one.  Jared was an enthusiastic picker, so it took a bit of patience and also a bit of instruction.

They actually both did pretty well and we tried to take our time and pick the best ones we could find.

These faces crack me up as they evaluate...and sometimes find ones that are too ripe and a bit squishy.

I loved taking pictures and they loved picking so it was a great for all of us.  ;)

Finding baby berries that still needed lots of growing time was also a highlight.  :)

I know there are tons of these, but can you blame me?

It was a little sunny, so taking a picture actually looking up was a bit difficult.

Then I had to try and at least be in one.  ;)

Jared had had enough of being in the pictures, but wanted to take a couple.  :)
