Before Christmas we had a couple of days just to play at Grandma & Grandpa's house and have fun with cousins. :) We had some pretty warm weather so after playing games outside, the kids were hot and Grandma passed out ice cream sandwiches. :)
We also had some fun at the park. :)
Scenes like this make me so happy. :)
Alan bought himself some Lego Robotics as his present to himself and Jared spent hours with him working on it. Very cool stuff!
We got to go miniature golfing with Aunt Linda & Aunt Danielle. Jared felt like his foot was broken after a scuffle with his brother, so he talked Alan into giving him a ride the whole time. (It really wasn't broken or anything, but he crawled around for two days...seriously!)
It started to rain on us while golfing, so the camera quickly went back to the car. We played most of the game anyway, but then abandoned it for a dry restaurant. :)
On Christmas Eve, we had a great time with Alan's family! Jared's enthusiasm in opening presents is quite evident in the blurry-ness of the phone pictures!
Christmas morning was spent with my side of the family...plenty of enthusiasm left. The boys were very excited for some new special Pokemon cards.
And Ethan couldn't get enough of his new bow!
My dad, with the help of some elves, gave all the women the best gift ever: some fabric printed with some beloved handwritten recipes to make into dishtowels!
Here's an example of it all sewn up and hanging on my stove with the hot fudge cooking. :)
My mom made my dad a photo quilt and he immediately got all cuddled up. :)
Jared wanted to make us all presents so he wrote us notes and wrapped up the individual papers. Here he is determining whose are whose.
Because Ethan was ready to shoot us all inside, we sent him out to practice. :)
After presents, we all got ready and went to church. We managed a very windy picture after.
And later, still practicing!
Some of us at Christmas dinner. I should have taken a picture of the grown-up table. It was set beautifully. :)
