We were reading books one day and Jared told me, "Mom, he's not using his three finger squeeze." (That's the way I describe the proper pencil grip to my preschoolers. I was a pretty proud mama.)
Jared tried out our new Christmas puzzle. Guys...I love puzzles!
Ethan's decor cracks me up. He always does things like this.
The weather was absolutely perfect one day and I was wearing my new $3 sunglasses and feeling super happy and had to take a picture.
We played a family soccer game one evening and we all really enjoyed it.
It also wore some of us out. (Yes, his shirt prompted the idea.) :)
Sometimes we have a dragon in the fridge.
We get a lot of mileage out of Halloween costumes. :)
Jared started begging me to take more pictures because he wants another finished chatbook. Needless to say I didn't want this one printed, but I wanted to remember his request. :)
I made gingerbread playdough for preschool. Jared is usually happy to be my guinea pig and try things out.
We got to go on a shopping date and then had lunch. Chick-Fil-A has really yummy peppermint shakes!
One night getting the mail, we had an impromptu walk around the block to see the lights. This is Christmas in Texas!
With it getting dark earlier, sometimes play happens in the dark. My boys will never be sports stars, but I love that they love to play anyway.
The trampoline was not under the light so this is the best I got of Ethan. ;)
Ethan's turn for a shopping date. I made sure we got home before most of the stores open. Shopping traffic is not a joking matter around here.
Ethan and Jared occasionally move Jared's bed into Ethan's room. They were so proud of themselves.
Ethan was invited to a birthday party at a laser tag place. I love that he's old enough to do this kind of thing!
Here's another insight into Ethan's personality. He wanted to get his homework finished quickly, so he dropped to the grass right after getting off the bus and started working.
