Christmas Traditions

We had a really nice Christmas!  I decided to try and relax through the break which resulted in a calmer holiday but also fewer pictures taken!
Before the actual break started, my mom came over to our house one day and we fulfilled a Christmas tradition of decorating our snowman cake.

 Jared loved the blue frosting!

 We won't win any prizes but it's always fun to decorate.  Jared gave him sprinkled mittens.  :)

 Once school was out we went over to Louisiana and continued the fun.  I brought a Hershey kiss memory game that we enjoyed playing.

 On Christmas Eve Eve we had a little program at my parents' house including a build-a-snowman game.  Ethan was a good sport.

 We sang lots of songs and Trevor played along with some.

 The kids jumped around from lap to lap while we sang.

 Eric helped take pictures.  ;)

 He also helped on the piano.

On Christmas Eve we went to Lauren's house to spend some time with Alan's family.  The boys played war while the big kids played euchre.

 We ate tons and then went on to the present opening.  This is always fun.

 We Skyped with Aunt Danielle, Grandma Debbie, and Grandpa Peterson since we were really missing them.

 The boys were sweet and spent their leftover souvenir money on each other's Christmas presents.

 We love Aunt Linda!

We woke up to Christmas morning at my parents' house.

 Eric was so happy about his fruit snacks!  :)

 They started checking things out...including a book of really cool paper airplanes.

 This is a BEAUTIFUL lady holding a BEAUTIFUL book.  :)

 Alan quickly got tired of my picture taking.  :)

 Ethan liked his sunglasses and consequently kept them on most of the morning.

 We kind of love puzzles and games.

 Calendars have become a tradition.

 Trevor came up with a great gift for my parents who are always tricky to buy for.  It was a box filled with inside jokes.  :)

 We quickly got to work playing with our toys.

It was a very great holiday!
