At the end of last month we decided it was finally time to tackle shoe tying. Ethan did so well and is getting faster and faster.
I went to the fabric store and Jared practically climbed into the fleece. When he came out, he said, "Mom, it is really comfy in here."
When making cinnamon rolls over Conference weekend, Jared got to play with a piece of dough and he was tickled about it.
We got to go to a birthday party at a gymnastics place and the boys really enjoyed jumping and sliding and jumping some more into the foam pits. Jared was hesitant at first, but couldn't get enough.
Alan and Ethan built a tank out of some scrap wood. It is really cute. They love doing projects together.
My parents are in Houston quite a bit now with my Dad's job and so the company got them an apartment. We had a day off of school and it was so fun to get to go play with Grandma Joan and check out the new place. The kids had so much fun playing "Hunt-n-Seek" (hide and seek with a flashlight), showing their tricks on the yoga mat, reading stories, exploring the area, having lunch, etc.
The apartment complex has a pool and even though it was a really rainy day, the boys had to try out the water. Jared decided to try it out a little more right after this picture and got wet up to his middle before I grabbed him. :)
Alan went out of town for a week so we had a picnic in front of a movie night. I was really disappointed in Wendy's fries. When did they change those and why did they do it?
He also uses the slide for all kinds of things. In the picture below, he told me he was running on his treadmill.
