Trying a New Recipe

One of our summer fun list ideas was to try a new recipe.  We did that today after church.  I pulled out my childhood cookbook

and let the boys pick a recipe.  They chose "Big Bad Wolf's Brownies."  :)

Ethan tried to help read the recipe.

They wanted the utensils to be swords...imagine that.  Knight Jared and Knight Ethan were good kitchen helpers.

Ethan loved the batter.  Jared was not willing to taste it because it was really runny.

We just happened to have some BlueBell to accompany it.  It was delicious...even if I need to work on my food presentation skills.  :)
