I've done most of what I'm going to do but I would love suggestions for what to do with the little blank walls beside the window and doorway. Also, would you paint the bookcase(s)?
First, I found the little fabric bins and treasure chest toy bins and decided to go with it. They were super cheap and I liked the colors.
Next, I found the bean bag chairs and absolutely fell in love. They were my only splurge.
Then I wanted something for the wall that I could use to display pictures and artwork. I had thought of lots of different options, but this ended up being the cheapest of the ones I liked best, so that's what I did. I am planning some art projects so that we have something to put up. Until then, I put up a few pictures from the boys' photo session. Any suggestions on push pin ideas?

Very cute! We definitely have too many toys. Oh well :). Where did you get the bean bag chairs? The bulletin boards are cute. I have big empty frames and I'm thinking about turning them into a magnet board and chalkboard or memory board. If you decided you don't love the cork look, you could cover it with a fabric you liked and still use it the same way. No genius ideas for thumb tacks right now, but if something pops in my head I'll let you know :) Great job!
So Fun, I love it. What a great place to play. The boards are perfect, kids love having their own stuff around. I would paint the bookcases, I am a maniac with a can of spray paint. It wouldn't take long and would be a fun pop of color. On the small walls by the window could you hang some pictures of the boys on canvas? Or have them paint pictures of themselves to hang there? This room is perfect as is, lots of open space to play!
