(Yeah, it's a day early.) It was very rainy this morning, so I decided we should do some fun indoor things and decided to take inspiration from tomorrow's holiday.
We fingerpainted rainbows.

(It's just all of a sudden that Ethan is willing to try and create actual images rather than just make a swirly, dotted mess on the paper!)
We attempted green shortbread cookies. The dough came out so crumbly that it didn't roll out well, so they didn't look pretty, but that didn't stop them from being yummy. :)

Do you see Nemo in the corner? Ethan got this little hat at preschool yesterday and decided it was just the right size for him.

We also made Froot Loop (I just noticed that they spell it with two o's! How many years has it been that way? Obviously I need some better observation skills.) necklaces.

I suppose this could be tied into the rainbow idea, but mostly it was because we had Froot Loops in the cupboard. :)

When I saw the Froot (double o's per your recommendation) Loop necklace I instantly thought "GENIUS!". I thought surely that was planned. So funny! Happy St. Patty's Day! Next year I'll put rainbow necklaces on the list of crafts. ;)
