Well, we've spread our fun out over the course of the weekend, and decided not to attempt anything too challenging, but we really have enjoyed the time!
Indoor Camping
(It really was just more like playing in a tent in the living room.)

S'mores
(What's camping without s'mores? I actually was a little disappointed in my son...he didn't like them very much.)

Grilling Hamburgers
(Alan gave Ethan a lesson in how to grill with charcoal...they got into chemistry and everything.)
Delicious 4th of July Meal
(Ethan loved that I put little flags in the hamburger buns! And just in case you need a dessert idea, definitely do fresh strawberry milkshakes! Delicious!)

Miniature Golfing
(Ethan thought it was so fun...he also liked to putt and then carry his ball over close to the hole and hit it in from there!)

Hope you had a happy 4th!
(I wanted to get a family shot...easier said than done!)

How fun! And I have to say, I am so impressed with how tightly rolled your tent was in the bag! Ours never looks like that! :) And that barbecue dinner looks really good - how'd the potato salad turn out?
that looks like a lot of fun! we haven't ventured to the children's museum here yet, it'd be me and 3 kids so its not going to happen anytime soon!
Love the flag in the buns. I actually have about 1 mil little flags in toothpicks that I have never quite found a use for. Now I have it! I will treasure them for any 300 some odd days...
