We wanted to have a great Memorial Day...some things worked out...some things didn't, but it was a nice day anyway. We went walking on a beautiful trail that we pass each week on our way to church but had never explored. I think we'll be back there...so nice and shady. :)
I love it when Ethan puts his hat on by himself...he pulls it so far down over his face it cracks me up!
Though I love the shade, it led to lousy lighting in many a photo. However...sometimes it's not lighting's fault. Ethan was refusing to cooperate and smile, so sometimes you get what you get. :)
Anyway, then we were starving because I goofed on the breakfast that I made and put in baking soda instead of powder...DON'T do that! :) No problems, though...we got to go have a yummy breakfast at a fun local place.

That picture of Ethan refusing to smile is hilarious! :) Glad you guys got to celebrate in some way. I kind of forgot about Memorial Day since we were getting Jack ready to head off to Vegas.
Anyways, I'm going to try to call you sometime, because it feels like it's been forever since we've talked! This week is a little crazy with packing (we're moving this weekend), but I'm also living alone right now so I just might find some time. :) Hope you're doing well!
