Trunk-or-Treat

Our ward had a Trunk-or-Treat last night. Ethan was all ready to get candy. However, as each piece of candy had to go in the bag rather than in his mouth, he got discouraged. After being told to put the candy in the bag for the tenth time or so, he decided it wasn't worth getting and set his bag down on the pavement and dejectedly walked away from it. Alan explained to him that he would get to eat it later. I don't think he thought that was a good enough answer. Poor kid...who knew trick-or-treating could be so depressing!

So funny! Both our girls did the same thing at this age! I think Madelyn finally stuck a sucker in her mouth as she marched from door to door. She was not waiting either!

That is sad but really funny, too. And I can totally understand! I'd be frustrated if I didn't get to eat all the candy! And his costume is way cute! :)

That is too funny! Hadlie was too excited about that idea either. We were telling her she could eat candy later so she was just getting candy from the other family with us!

My boys were the same this Halloween! The rule we made was we had to get back to our car and then they got to pick one peice to eat... 1 turned into several. ;-)
