Memorial Day in Philly

Since Philadelphia is less than 2 hours from our house and I've never been there, we decided to go on a day trip on Monday. It was a very short vacation, but was nice nonetheless. We were able to see Independence Hall, Congress Hall, the US Mint, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Benjamin Franklin's grave, Constitutional Center, and Pat's & Geno's (the 2 locations which claim to have created the cheesesteak sandwich) and other sites as well. I took the worst pictures I've ever taken in my life on this little venture, so don't expect much, but here are a few! :)Doesn't Alan look thrilled?! :) Maybe I take too many pictures sometimes! I'm always talking when I should be smiling! Um...sorry Ethan!

We were just there on Saturday! I was visiting Calder in Delaware and we drove to Philadelphia to get a cheese steak. Where do you live again?

How fun to go to Philly! And by the way, there is no such thing as too many pictures. :)

Sharon, I miss you and your laugh! Ethan is sooo cute. What's up with all the blonde hair? Where'd that come from? You look fabulous. I love the picture at the top of your blog. What's your secret for being so photogenic?? Please share! Hope you're doing well!!
