A Bit Ridiculous
Well, I just spent 5 minutes trying to get a gigantic cricket away from our front door so that I could open it without it entering. It didn't work, so I walked around to the basement door and came in from there. A bit ridiculous? Yes...I know that I'm freakishly afraid of little critters. How am I ever going to help Ethan learn to be a brave boy when I'm so irrationally terrified? Hopefully you got a little laugh over the mental image of me trying to shoo a cricket (we're talking 3 inches long here!) without getting near it while trying not to act afraid and send Ethan into scared mode. I'm sure it was pretty funny looking.

That's pretty funny. The other day at work I had a spider in my office, and I had to ask a lady I work with to get it for me! So I definitely understand where you're coming from!
Oh, and I'm super excited that you're coming out here! I'll call you tomorrow to talk about it...
i agree they're pretty creepy looking, especially one that big!
I hate bugs...every single last one of them.
I am so with you on this one. Bugs are gross! We have lots of crickets and spiders around here so we never use our huge patio. I was pleased to read this and know that I am not alone!
