What a discovery!

We all know that vinegar has various uses, but here's one I hadn't heard of. For those of you who happen to have hard water and a dishwasher, I have a helpful hint to share. I recently discovered that putting vinegar into the Jet Dry opening works wonders! Vinegar is way cheaper than Jet Dry and something I usually have around, so this discovery is very exciting to me. I love seeing sparkly clean dishes when I open (the marvelous magic machine that is) the dishwasher. (After living years without one, I hope you can understand my enthusiasm.)

Um, so do your dishes smell like vinegar afterwards??

I share in your enthusiasm! Dishwashers are fabulous and using something natural instead of a dyed chemical that costs a ton more is even more fabulous! I love the vinegar idea! Hooray for sparkly clean dishes!

A little acetic acid (vinegar) on a little basic hard water build up works wonders. Yeah for chemistry. That's about the only lesson I remember from ochem. Probably a good thing.
