Our Bedroom

Since the bathroom was less than exciting (as noted from the lack of comments...hint, hint), I'll move on to our bedroom. I love this room now that we have a complete bed! (Our box springs didn't fit up the stairs so we waited 5 days for our special-ordered split set to arrive.) Following the pattern, I'll mention that my favorite parts are: separate closets (who knew it would be sooo nice?!), the recessed area for the dresser and mirror. My least favorite part has nothing to do with the actual room and more to do with the fact that we still only have one small dresser with only 2 drawers each. While I sleep soundly on my now whole bed, I dream of matching bedroom furniture in an espresso finish and an upholstered headboard, but for now, I'm just pleased with the fact that I have a comfy place to sleep! Oh, and I do intend on hanging pictures instead of leaving the huge stack on the sewing table...but I figured that if I waited to be "finished" with the bedroom, I would literally never get the post done! :)Yesterday when I took the pictures I hadn't gotten curtains up, so here's the updated window. My coverings of choice would have been over $200, so I opted for the cheaper (though still functional) version!

You can just blame google reader that I've been a comment stinge. Ahhh, but look at your bedroom! Hardwood floors! Space! How gorgeous is that! Do you just dance around your apartment all day? Because that's what I did when I first moved in. Congratulations on your sweet new pad!

It's so true...Google Reader is the culprit...I shouldn't complain because it gets me too. I do love the space...I'll work on dancing more! :)

One word on the new house...JEALOUS! Although we are fully enjoying our air conditionerless wymount, the bathroom counter you have is making me covetous.
