A Visit with My Favorite People in My Favorite Place
Bicknell, UT is one of my favorite places in the world. It's the town that my father grew up in and in which my grandparents still live. It is a perfect getaway from the busy world! Everything seems so calm and wonderful there! Everything tastes better there (partially due to my grandpa's magnificent garden and partially due to my grandma's fabulous cooking)! In fact, the only thing Bicknell's not good for is dieting! :) My sister and her husband (who are expecting a baby in August) came up from Oklahoma and I met them at my grandparents' house. We had a great couple of days! We made a visit to Capitol Reef National Park as well and did a little walking. Aren't my 90-year old grandparents amazing! :)

Yes your grandparents are wonderful...just like you.
I love southern/southeastern Utah! The world seems so big and I feel so small. It's a very humbling reminder and good for the soul! Way to go grams and gramps!!
